Richard Broome
Managing Partner & Chief Solution Architect
Richard Broome brings deep platform expertise and a passion for continuous planning innovation to his role as Managing Partner at Top Down CPM. Before co-founding the firm, Richard was a founding member of the Planful leadership team, where he served in multiple executive capacities including Vice President of Services, Vice President of Operations, and CIO. In these roles, he oversaw the development of Professional Services and Support organizations that served Planful's growing customer base worldwide. Since leaving Planful's corporate team, Richard has continued his dedication to the platform and its users, working as an advisor, solution architect, and advocate for organizations of all sizes seeking to improve their financial planning and analysis capabilities. His unique perspective—having built Planful's service delivery infrastructure from the inside—enables him to design solutions that leverage the platform's full potential while addressing real-world operational challenges. At Top Down CPM, Richard oversees the development of customer Planful solutions, ensuring that every implementation reflects best practices honed over years of platform evolution. His architectural approach balances technical sophistication with practical usability, creating systems that finance teams can confidently operate and evolve. When he's not architecting planning solutions, Richard enjoys playing golf, exploring music, and spending quality time with his wife and three daughters.
Pete Dwyer
Co-Founder & Partner, Head of Professional Services
Pete Dwyer co-founded Top Down CPM with a clear vision: combine deep CFO and FP&A expertise with specialized Planful knowledge to deliver transformative financial planning solutions. With an exceptional track record for driving operational excellence in the office of the CFO, Pete brings both the technical acumen and finance leadership perspective that sets Top Down CPM apart. Prior to launching Top Down CPM, Pete held leadership roles with Ernst & Young, Travelers, Medtronic, and UHY, where he focused on enabling fintech solutions for fellow FP&A executives. This experience gave him firsthand insight into the challenges finance leaders face—and the solutions that actually work in practice, not just in theory. As Head of Professional Services, Pete leads the firm's client engagement strategy, ensuring that every project delivers measurable business value while building sustainable planning capabilities within client organizations. His approach emphasizes not just implementing technology, but transforming how finance teams operate, plan, and deliver insights to leadership. Pete holds degrees in Accounting and Computer Science, has completed his Executive MBA, and is a CPA (inactive) in Minnesota. His unique combination of technical skills, accounting expertise, and business leadership enables him to bridge the gap between finance requirements and technology solutions. Pete lives in Minnesota with his wife and three children, where he remains actively involved in the local business and finance community.
Taylor Clark
Director of Operations
Taylor Clark serves as Director of Operations at Top Down CPM, where she ensures that every client engagement runs smoothly, efficiently, and delivers measurable business value. With over a decade of experience in financial systems, business operations, and technology implementation, Taylor brings both strategic vision and operational excellence to her role. Taylor joined Top Down CPM in 2021 as a Solution Architect, working directly with clients to design and deliver financial planning solutions within the Planful platform. Her success in that role—combined with her natural leadership abilities and systems-thinking approach—led to her promotion to Director of Operations, where she now oversees professional services delivery, project management, and internal operations across the firm. In her current role, Taylor leads the team of Solution Architects, guiding project execution and resource planning across Top Down CPM's client portfolio. Her focus is ensuring alignment between client objectives, project delivery, and business outcomes. Before joining Top Down CPM, Taylor worked closely with finance and accounting teams to improve processes and implement systems that streamlined operations and enhanced overall business performance. What Taylor loves most about her work is the balance of strategy, collaboration, and problem-solving. "Every day brings new opportunities to help clients succeed, strengthen internal operations, and support my team's growth," she says. "It's incredibly rewarding to see our work come together and know that we're building systems and processes that make a lasting impact." A proud LSU alum, Taylor never misses a chance to cheer on the Tigers. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband Garrett and their two dogs, Max and Honey, cooking and hosting friends and family, spending time outdoors, and traveling whenever possible.
Jennie Rush
Account Manager
Jennie Rush is a Customer Success and Business Operations leader who brings over a decade of diverse experience to her role as Account Manager at Top Down CPM. Her background spans customer success, finance, human capital management, and business operations—giving her a comprehensive understanding of how organizations work and what they need to succeed. In her role, Jennie serves as the primary point of contact for Top Down CPM clients, managing and nurturing long-term relationships that extend well beyond initial implementation. She conducts regular check-ins and business reviews, addresses questions or concerns, and proactively identifies opportunities to drive additional value from clients' Planful investments. Her expertise includes CRM management, Planful platform knowledge, financial reporting, HCM systems, business process improvement, and client training. What sets Jennie apart is her genuine commitment to client success. She acts as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordinated support. She monitors customer health metrics, identifies risks before they become problems, and partners with clients on strategies for renewals, expansion, and ongoing adoption. "Helping clients overcome challenges and seeing how their solutions make a difference is incredibly satisfying," Jennie explains. "It's rewarding to know my work directly contributes to client success." She appreciates that no two days are exactly the same—the variety of meetings, strategy sessions, problem-solving, and collaboration keeps her role engaging and meaningful. Outside of work, she enjoys boating, concerts, biking, traveling, and spending quality time with family including her husband Jim and dog Charlie.
Shanna Sisco
Managing Director, Data Services
Shanna Sisco leads Top Down CPM's Data Services practice, bringing over 17 years of specialized expertise in the Planful ecosystem to every client engagement. Her deep platform knowledge—gained from years working within Planful's support and implementation organizations—gives her unique insight into how data integration can unlock the platform's full potential. For the past eight years, Shanna has focused exclusively on data integration, becoming an expert in connecting Planful environments with the diverse source systems that finance teams rely on. She leads Top Down CPM's Integration Team in building and customizing on-premise and cloud-based data integrations on the Boomi AtomSphere platform, ensuring seamless data flows that enable accurate, timely financial planning and reporting. Shanna's role encompasses the full project lifecycle: working with clients to understand their data requirements, overseeing requirements gathering and development, managing testing and go-live processes, and providing ongoing technical support. Her collaborative approach and attention to detail ensure that integrations not only work technically but deliver the reliability and data accuracy that finance teams require. What drives Shanna is knowing that her work makes a tangible difference. "I take pride in knowing that, by the end of a project, I've helped lift a manual burden from the client's hands," she explains. There's deep satisfaction in transforming hours of manual data manipulation into automated, reliable processes. Outside of work, Shanna loves spending time with her kids, exploring the outdoors, and connecting with others through American Sign Language (ASL).
